3.15.09 - Journaling

I don't know why but I hate crying in public. It was more work than usual to hold back the tears today as I watched the darling Primary kids that I have come to adore and love. Today I was released from the Primary Presidency. This release was a complete testimony builder for me- I know that the Lord is 100% aware of his children, and this was completely inspired and of the Lord. I am really excited about the new sisters that have been called and know they will do an amazing job, and the kids are totally in for a fun treat. The children in our Ward are absolutely amazing. If my little boy grows to be like them, I will be so proud. They have been taught gospel principles, they know the scriptures, they are respectful and they are kind to one another. I truly have been blessed to spend the last few years with them. They are the most beautiful, most precious children.
With every calling comes a release. I love how the gospel and the church functions so perfectly. With every calling I learn and I grow. In return, I, hopefully, help someone else to learn and grow. And then I will be called to something different and new, where I will continue to grow and learn. It reminds me of the scripture 2 Nephi 2:14 "...and all these things are for your profit and learning;" I am thankful that the Lord blessed me with this experience, and I am excited to be uplifted in some other capacity where ever that may be. Doesn't the world just make sense when you have the truth of the gospel? I really don't know where or what I would do without it. What a great day today was.

Wouldn't it be great if God could comment on our Journal pages and let us know we're doing great, or need to make an adjustment or two. Sorry looks like all you get is me.

I did want you to know how much working with you over the past two years has meant to me; you are so 'together' all the time and you wear the cutest clothes (referring to the adorable boots in a previous post, and all the adorable outfits).

You have taught me many things, I'd have to say the best lesson is, if you desire something don't doubt, just do. And, if you don't feel you shouldn't do something, then don't.

Thanks, I'm learning to have that much self-assurance, thanks to you.
