birthday shout out

yesterday was my dad's birthday! happy birthday dad! when we were younger we had a camper and would go camping every summer up near mount shasta. i have a lot of fond memories sitting around the campfire, playing in the creek, and playing cards in the camper. i remember many times sitting in the car while my dad chatted with an employee in the nearby market about fun things to do in the area. we would go see the big redwood trees, explore caves, and go fishing in a big boat on the lake. my dad has always gone out of his way to make sure that we were making family memories.

i love how my dad is so hardworking. my parents are currently doing some renovations around their home, and even though they are paying someone to do it, my dad is always out with the workers helping them move things around. he makes friends where ever he goes, and keeps friends. he has never stopped seizing to be an example of kindness and loyalty. i hope that i can grow to be that type of person.

and finally i love that my dad is the mediator of our family. he has a way of calming people down, and keeping peace. i have never seen him argue with my mom, and has always treated her with respect. i am grateful for his example. i love you dad, i am proud of you and proud that you are my dad. i hope you have a happy birthday, because, you deserve it. happy birthday!
