during the entire ordeal i have a screaming crying child who knows we are upset with what he did. after turning over the job to jared, i take him upstairs and scrub him clean. he won't stop crying and whining, although it really is just a whine... my head is pounding and i am so mad. i put on his pj's and put him in his crib (which he hasn't been in for probably a year), and leave him. i change out of my too tight pants and into comfortable pajamas and take some deep breaths before going in to get him. i told him he had to stop crying or he was going back to his crib. he was literally holding his breath, but made himself stop crying.
i'm cleaning up dinner. he is banging mixing bowls all around the wood floors. my head is literally pounding. the doors under my sink that are usually locked were temporarily unlocked to retrieve magic erasers, and he has managed to pull out the dish soap and is pouring it all over the mixing bowls and floors. one thing after another.
my stomach is hurting, my head is killing me, i've been on the verge of tears, and i think i am ready for bed. hope your night went better than mine. (oh- the magic eraser mostly worked... there are only a few places between the grain in the wood that we couldn't get, but it isn't noticeable unless you are looking for it.)

I am SO sorry you've had a bad night. Hang in there!
That sounds horrible! You poor thing! I hope he sleeps in to make it up to you! I'm so sorry!
Oh man! What a night! Kids are so curious. I wonder what their fascination is with drawing all over everything. At least it came off though, that is a miracle! Way to handle the situation though! 5 stars for mama!
Ohohohohohoh!!! That is my nightmare - permanent markers -- only we have nice cloth sofas that would show EVERYTHING, so the day something happens to them -- I will cry... Right now I tell my husband -- "put those pens and hi-lighters up high!!" They always seem to be on the floor, in reach. Poor stacey-- and feeling sick throughout it too...
Hopefully the rest of your week goes better!
I was thinking at least it wasnt poop but I guess that would have been easier to clean. Im so glad we are not to that stage yet.
OH GOOD HEAVENS! What a disaster of a day. I hope that you were able to get out all of the magic marker...if not, let me know - I have a magic cleaner that kicks Sharpie's butt.
I think that being a pregnant mom is a lot harder than we all let on. Trying to keep up with kids when your patience is low, and your body is tired can be awful. Please let me know if I can ever give you the afternoon off!
