Possible sleepwalker?

When I was a little girl I slept walk. My parents would find me walking the house at night, brushing my hair, etc. I gave them heart attacks when I would wander in on Christmas Eve as they set up the loot, until they realized I was just sleep walking.

I mentioned a few weeks ago that we moved Porter to a big boy bed. Before our trip to Hawaii he occasionally would wake up crying, and we would go in and comfort him for a second until he fell back to sleep. But since our return, things have been a little different. It started when we would hear some shuffling and come in and he had climbed out of bed. Then in the middle of the night we would wake up with him at our door wanting to come in to our bed. Then he was coming right up to my bedside trying to climb in. I didn't think much about it, just that he was trying to work his way into our bed at night. But the other night, Jared went to bed before me, and I stayed up later than normal reading a book. I shut off all the lights and headed upstairs. As I climbed the stairs I realized that Porter was sitting at the top of the stairs, with his blankie, not making a sound. I picked him up, and he layed his head right down on my shoulder as if he was asleep. I noticed that the door to his bedroom was closed, which means he closed it when he left. When I layed him down in bed he was fast asleep. So now I am wondering... does Porter sleep walk too? He obviously hasn't had much opportunity to do so before in his life, so I am sure only time will tell. But it is funny how interesting our nights can be sometimes.

Today I had a doctor appointment, and they did an ultrasound. Our little boy is getting chunky and is super active. The doctor couldn't believe how much he was moving, I believe at once he said "it's like he is running a race in there." Everything seems to be doing well. I cannot believe how quickly it has gone by so far. Being a mom certainly takes up all your time and occupies your mind/energy/time. I started getting the leg cramps at night this week, I had that issue last time around. I am getting real paranoid about weight gain, probably because I'm actually gaining it now. I am going on a sugar fast to try and keep things under control. I'm also considering seeing a nutritionist that can tell me exactly what to eat and help me out. I am bummed I forgot to ask the doctor about this, so maybe I will have to call them this week to get recommendations. I also need to get back in to a daily work out routine. Porter had fun doing "ExerciseTV" with me this morning. I'm thinking about finding some people that want to trade days & baby sitting so I can go to the gym a couple times a week. Let me know if you are interested!
