Trudy's Baby Shower
Yesterday we had a baby shower for our friend and employee, Trudy! She is having a baby boy in just six short weeks! When I found out I would be planning her shower, and that it was just one week after Tyson's birthday party... I decided to pick a theme that I could use for both parties. But, as I mentioned in a previous post, Tyson's birthday party was a bit of a disaster. So none of the decorations, table linens, or fancy serving dishes came out. I was grateful at least, to know that I had another occasion they could be used at. It turned out so darling, and it was fun to see everything I had envisioned come together. Mostly though, it was just fun to be with all of the darling ladies in my ward that I adore, and have a night to visit with friends as we celebrated Trudy's new baby.

I KNEW those cupcakes were from you guys! My kids have been asking all day, "Is it time to eat cupcakes yet?!" I'm using them as a bribe to keep them on their best behavior!
Sorry I wasn't able to make it last night - Rob was the (and I love this) "surprise speaker" for a conference call for a bunch of big wigs at work. Surprise - you have no idea who this speaker is!

LOVE IT! Oh Stacy I get so happy just looking at cute party pictures. I'm so glad this was only a week later and you could see your vision come together. It was DARLING!
