We got back to Utah late Sunday night. The kids had fallen asleep in the car, and were transported into their beds without a peep. Monday morning when Porter woke up, he walked into my room and woke me up. He had an excited little smirk on his face. "Mom, where are we?" he asked excited. "We're home!" I said. "Yes," he replied, "does that mean we can decorate for Christmas now?" I hoped to put it off a day because coming home from a trip, there is a lot to do. But that little boy just wouldn't let it go! So we busted out the decorations and decorated the house. We saved the tree for last, so we could do it as a family when daddy got home from work. The kids' favorite decoration is the nativity set. Tyson coos "baby baby" and Porter strategically takes out all the figurines and places them back in their correct places.
Oh yeah, thanks a lot papa, Porter is not going to let us live down the fact that we don't have Christmas lights up this year. All I hear is "But grandma and papa have Christmas lights!" LOL
