Christmas 2011

Christmas came and went so quickly this year!  Christmas Eve we got together with the Robbins and had a nice turkey dinner, and played a really fun game as a family.  We headed to the Spanish Fork lights, and the kids crashed just before we got home.  The Christmas eve traditions I was excited to do with them at home didn't end up happening, but as we listened to the Christmas devotional President Uchtdorf talked about how we allow ourselves to get stressed when things don't happen perfectly how we imagine.  That helped me to let it go, and not get so upset that things weren't going exactly like I planned.  Instead it ended up being a peaceful (yet late) night with Jared, and it was still perfect.
Christmas Eve- children are sleeping, stockings are hung, cookies are baking, Jared is on the assembly line, the Christmas devotional is playing, presents are out, and Santa has already come.

Christmas morning.  The kids completely have forgotten it is Christmas morning.  We walk downstairs and then comes the gasp, and "PRESENTS!  Santa came!"  The kids opened up their gifts in record time this year, it was all over in an hour.  Tyson had the gift unwrapping down this year.

The kids made out like bandits as usual.  My family spoils us like crazy.  I would guess that more than half the gifts are from them.

Checking out each others loot.

My favorite part of Christmas is spending it with these two little angels!  Their expressions and reactions are the best gifts.  Porter declared it "The best Christmas ever!"

Here they are all dressed for church.  These outfits are what they got from Jared's mom for Christmas.
