Bedtime Gems

There was a BYU game last night. It was the big rivalry game against the Utes.  I think the kids sensed the excitement even though we didn't watch it with anyone since it was such a late game.  But after all was over and settled I went to check on my sleeping children before turning in for the night and found Tyson passed out in his football pants and a BYU jersey, and Porter was sound asleep wearing a football helmet.  We hesitantly pulled it off his little head before turning in for the night.  I just love this time of the night when the house is quiet and peaceful and I get to peak in at my 3 sweet angels peacefully sleeping.  And surprises like this are sure to be found in one shape or another.  It's one of the great rewards of motherhood.
