Jamie and Darron invited the family up for a Memorial Day bbq, and we had SO much fun that we ended up staying at their house for over EIGHT HOURS! Porter spent at least half of his day on the trampoline, and then Darron and Jamie took him on a 4-wheeler ride with the other kids. I was tempted to go, as they say bumpy rides can put you into labor, but I didn't. We had a yummy lunch, and then later that evening all the adults that weren't pregnant went golfing, while Lisa and I stayed back with the little ones. Thanks for a fun day guys!

4th of july
i hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of july, i am sure grateful for this beautiful country in which we live in! we really are a blessed people! my day was packed with fun- from 4:15am til midnight. i'm still wiped out! so here is my crazy long post for my crazy long day....
hot air balloons- i woke up at 4:15am to shower and get ready for the sunrise show, that in reality didn't start until 7am. had i known i wouldn't have been up so early, and had woken up my baby and hubby at 5:20am. we met my brother and sister in law and their kids, and jared's parents. the kids LOVED the hot air balloons, and i was really glad we went, in spite on the early morning. it set the mood for the rest of the day.
freedom festival parade- at 9am the provo parade began. jared's whole family attended, but we went home for a short nap before they all came to our house at 10:30ish am.
bbq & water party- we had a yummy bbq at a park nearby our house. we all brought our water toys, and the kids had quite the set up with a pool, a water slide, 2 water rockets, and even a homemade water slide made with a hose and the park's largest playground slide. i had fun playing some tennis, and some beach volleyball. we ended up spending a whoppin' 6 hours at the park.
dinner- we all came back to our house, and while dinner was being prepared, the kids got bathed and ready for the fireworks. we had dinner, and then let the kids play outside until it got dark enough for firewokrs.
fireworks- we decided not to fight the crowds and traffic this year, and have a cozy family firework show. there were some concerned looks at first, but once the little ones got used to it they were all smiles! we had our little firework show, and then some neighbors down the street came over with their huge illegal fireworks from wyoming. i felt like the stadium of fire was at my house. i preferred our family firework show. everyone was gone by 11pm and then we bathed porter, and i prepared my lesson for church the next morning. it was one busy day!
