More Easter Festivities

Saturday we headed over to our local park for the annual Elder's Quorum Easter Egg Hunt. There was a great turnout, and I would say the only downfall of the event was that it was held right smack at nap time. Porter had a hard time waiting through all of the fun games to start collecting the eggs that were just waiting to be collected. He has been getting some good egg hunting practice in, so I think when the big day comes he will be pro.

Every Easter I look forward to buying Porter a new church outfit that he can wear on Easter Sunday. This seems to be a tradition of many Utahns and it seems like if you wait too long, the Easter Sunday outfits are hard to come by. I waited a little bit longer than usual this year, but was surprised to see that there was quite a collection still to be found. Then it dawned on me that with General Conference falling on Easter Sunday this year, he would have to wear his Easter Sunday church outfit the week before. So now I am seeing why the collections are still widely available this year. Maybe that will result in some good after holiday sales.
