vegas trip and a toddler easter party

life has been busy lately, hence the lack of blogging. this past weekend is sure to come up in another post once i get the pictures from my friends. this weekend i left porter with jared and went with four of my close high school girlfriends to las vegas for a girls reunion/weekend. we had so much fun. we stayed with our friend who lives there in vegas. we stayed up late, slept in late, got pedicures, shopped, ate at a fantastic restaurant, walked the strip, and took in all the vegas sites. we laughed so much, and it felt great to be in the company of such great friends. we've decided that an annual girls trip should definitely be tradition. pictures of our fun will come soon.

a couple days after we got back porter and i invited some of our little friends over for an easter party. porter hand delivered all of the invitations, and he talked about his party for days. he was so excited. so when i had to drag him away from the excitement to change his diaper, he complained "no, i want to go to the par-tee!" we had a lot of fun but i didn't take many pictures at all. the kids dyed easter eggs, and made little easter bunnies. we had an easter egg hunt, and the mom's made easter jars to pass along to a friend. but mostly we enjoyed eating and visiting with all of our fun friends. once the house finally cleared out, porter c-r-a-s-h-e-d. well, there is more to catch up on, but this will do for now. (ps: here are the jars and instructions. to make, layer- 1 cup m&m's, 6 peeps, and a ziplock with 6 crushed graham crackers and 1/3 cup brown sugar)
