Easter Celebration at Uncle Jay's

I have a ninety something old great uncle who's name is Uncle Jay.  Jay Porter to be exact.  Ever since we gave birth to our little boy, Porter Jay, Uncle Jay has taken a special liking to our little family.  This year he invited us up to his house in Morgan for his annual Easter celebration.  His kids told me that he starts planning this party in January!  There was a big lunch, a couple easter egg hunts for the kids, prizes, games, and a balloon finale.  He calls all the grandkids and great grandkids by their first names.  But he calls Porter, "Porter Jay".  Porter is pretty smitten with Uncle Jay, although he calls him "Grandpa Jay".  We were so glad that we got to be apart of Uncle Jay's special celebration.  The highlight for me was hearing him talk about the changes in the world he has witnessed in his life, and bearing his testimony to us.  We finished the day off by visiting Grandpa Porter's grave, and then driving up the street to Porterville, where my ancestors settled.  We got to see the old house, the old cemetary, the old church, etc.  Porter thought it was pretty cool to be in Porteville, too.  It was not only a fun day for everyone, I was glad we got to spend a little time with Uncle Jay, because he is a pretty special guy in my book!
