I wish I could put pictures to this post so you could see the cuteness, but my camera battery is dead and the charger has disappeared off the face of the earth. Very sad. But let me describe to you the scene at my house. A red blanket is spread out across the floor. There are bags and boxes stuffed with church ties, socks, toys, and other random things. They are presents for me. On the other side there are about 40 stuffed animals perfectly lined up. They are Porter's friends, you see. He invited them to my birthday party. Yes, my friends it is my 28th birthday and I am having a delightful little birthday celebration with my sweet four year old. It is a birthday picnic, and we are munching and crunching on peach flavored baby puffs.
Tyson has a fever. He is sleeping now, which gave me the perfect amount of time to hurry and clean the house while Porter set up the party. When he wakes up he will be fussy and want to cuddle. I took him to the doctor this morning thinking maybe he got an ear infection like Porter did last week, but nope. Not really sure, except that it looked like he had a sore throat. I have to admit, sometimes I think they make things up when they don't know.
Sometimes birthdays don't happen exactly as planned but this birthday I am feeling very loved by my 2 boys. One that is putting on the world's greatest party for his mama, and another that will want to snuggle all day long. Life is good. :)
