Last week we took our 1st family trip to Disneyland. It was Jared's first time too! I have so many memories of going to Disneyland as a little girl, it was so fun to go again and see it through my little boys eyes. Sometimes there were smiles and squeals but for the most part I think there was just big eyes watching everything going on around them. It was such a fun trip. My parents and brothers met us there. I have to thank them again for such a great trip, because they paid for everything! The hotel stay, parking, food, every little thing. Thank you! It wouldn't have been the same without them there, because as you are about to see, half of the excitement was being around their grandparents and uncles. We are so blessed to have such a great family support.

Our first ride! It was so cute, eyes and mouths were wide open and they just soaked it all in. :) |

If you look closely at this ride, this pretty much depicts how it usually was. The kids always wanted to sit by Grandma and Papa or their uncles. So we had to turn around the whole ride to get a glimpse of their reactions. Haha. I love it. |

We had so many helping hands! My parents have been planning all along to be there for our kids 1st Disneyland trip. But when my brothers found out we were going they insisted they had to witness it too. Since these boys are the 1st grandkids on my side, they get SPOILED with attention. I didn't have to do much at all. :) |

Porter now associates Disneyland with the image of this castle. He wants me to run into the family room anytime it flashes on the television. |
The merry-go-rounds. We ran into our friends Khyl and Michelle there! |
Porter did really well waiting in the lines and just entertained himself. The kids overall did great. |
Jared really liked California Adventure. |
We saw Disneyland characters throughout our trip but the kids never wanted to wait in line to see them, they just didn't seem that interested. Until they saw Mickey. It kind of surprised us since it was the last day and they had been saying no along. Both kids were SO excited. As we were walking away, Porter turned back and said "Mickey! I will come back again." |
California Adventure, A Bugs Life area. Tyson dissolved into tears when he wasn't tall enough to ride the cars, so Grandma and I took him on another ride. |
The lights were so pretty at night, magical even! |
Leave it to us to get our family picture in the Disneyland entrance just as we are leaving on the last day! :) Ah, farewell Disneyland! Until next time... |
The last day we went to Los Angeles where we went to the Planetarium/Observatory and then we went and visited my Grandpa Koerner. The kids played a game that my brothers and I used to play when we would visit as kids. It was great to see Grandpa! |

The pictures all look so fun! I can't believe we were there just a few days apart! We went to Legoland on Monday and Disneyland on Tuesday. The kids loved both places, but I seriously love Disneyland! I forced Parker to go on Thunder Mountain Railroad with me, which was awesome. He hated it! LOL
These pictures make me want to go back RIGHT now:)I love the smile on Porters face with Mickey...PRICELESS.
I'm so glad that you guys had a great time. I can't believe that it was Jared's first time-so crazy. We are going in the fall, so it is very reassuring to know that your kids loved it.
