Halloween 2013

This summer Jared found a site online that was clearance-ing out Halloween costumes for $2.50/costume. We picked transformer costumes for the entire family.  At that price it seemed like a sin not to buy the adult costumes. Then we tried them on and it felt like a sin wearing them in public!  I at least felt pretty silly. But the kids seemed to enjoy it. We spent Halloween morning at foothill elementary school watching the costume parade. There are some pretty creative moms out there! Wow. That evening we headed to highland for the annual trick or treating with cousins. The kids filled their buckets to the rim!  Aubrey was bundled up in a blanket the entire time and passed back and forth between mom and dad but she loved being outside in the middle of the action. Time sure does fly, seems like we walked this same neighborhood trick-or-treating just yesterday and that was one year ago. I was very pregnant and had an achy back. The kids wanted to go longer than me that year. Crazy. Love my kids.
